Prince Andrew has reportedly been 'banned' from the Order of the Garter ceremony after Prince William and Prince Charles advised the Queen to not allow him to attend.The Duke of York, 62, is said to have met with the Queen, 96, to ask for his HRH title and had been meant to appear as a member of the Order at Monday 13 June's Order of the Garter ceremony.
However, the Queen is reported to have told her second son that it is “for his own good” if he stays out of sight after speaking with Prince William, 39, and Prince Charles, 73.The father and son allegedly explained that Andrew's public appearance could cause backlash and damage the reputation of the royal family.

A source told The Sun: “It was a decision taken by the household for the best interests of the family but also the best interests of the Duke of York.” OK!
