Prince William and Kate Middleton were seen honouring the victims of the Manchester Arena bombings as they attended the official opening of the memorial of the incident on Tuesday.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were pictured greeting the families of those who died from the terror attack and survivors at the Glade of Light memorial by the city’s cathedral for the ceremony ahead of the fifth anniversary of the tragic event.
Kate, 40, appeared smartly outfitted for the occasion in a blue and grey tweed coat with a flared skirt and a pair of gold bee earrings — signifying Manchester's worker bee and anti-terrorist symbol — while William, 39, was respectfully dressed in a dark blue suit. The Royal couple previously visited the city’s cathedral in May 2018, as they attended the national service of commemoration there on the first anniversary of the attack carried out by Salman Abedia which saw 22 people killed at Ariana Grande's concert.
