St Mirren skipper completed a painful late deadline day move to Hibs. Obika believes the midfielder’s engine will be tough to replace as the Paisley side look to climb away from the bottom end of the Premership table.
He told Express Sport: “Magennis is a great player and a great guy off the pitch. He’ll definitely be a big miss.“I think you saw last season before his injury that he can drive forward well and link the play well from defence to attack.“He’s got a good engine on him too that will be tough to replace.” On the pitch St Mirren have the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways when they welcome Partick Thistle to Paisley tomorrow night.
