Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are beginning their fight in court and they were spotted leaving the first day of the trial.

The 58-year-old actor and the 35-year-old actress were seen exiting the Fairfax Country Circuit Court on Monday afternoon (April 11) in Fairfax, Virginia. Johnny sued Amber in 2019 over an op-ed published in the Washington Post, in which she alluded to allegations she had made against him in the past and said she had become “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” Johnny responded to the article with his $50 million dollar lawsuit, even though Amber did not name Johnny in the piece or detail any of the alleged abuse.

She subsequently filed a $100 million counterclaim. You can learn more details about the case in our previous post. In the photos from outside the courthouse, you can see more than a dozen of Johnny‘s supporters who held “Justice for Johnny” signs. Amber had some supporters outside the courthouse too.
