Joe Exotic is speaking out from prison. The self-described Tiger King sent a three-page letter to podcaster Josh Belcher, asking for it to be read on his show.

Belcher read the note on Thursday's episode of, and only ET has photos of the letter Exotic sent from behind bars. Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence after being convicted of plotting a murder-for-hire against Carole Baskin, among other charges.

Exotic's letter is dated May 21, before Baskin was granted control of his G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
