Approximately one year after the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein, who was later found dead in his jail cell, Ghislaine Maxwell, his collaborator, was also charged for her involvement in the human trafficking scandal for which Epstein was also indicted.
This Thursday, the British socialite was charged with six crimes related to the alleged abuse of three minors between the years 1994 and 1997.
Annie Farmer, one of the women involved in the case, alongside her sister, Maria, came out as victims this past year. Coincidentally, The Daily Beast says that Maxwell was apprehended by the authorities on Annie’s 41st birthday. “This means the world,” Farmer said in an interview with The Daily Beast.
