He has recaptured the form he produced at Borussia Dortmund prior to his Old Trafford switch last year. Like all United players, the 22-year-old had a difficult season.
He ended with just five goals and three assists to his name in what was a disappointing return. Many supporters took the view that Sancho’s display had been a result of the abysmal team cohesion, and have backed him to come good in his second season. The new boss is the type of character not to allow good fortunes to seep into the egos of his players, but Sancho has already shown he has the correct mindset and is intrinsically a team player.
