The former Aston Villa man moved to the Etihad Stadium in the summer and recently returned from a shin injury to play a starring role in City's 2-0 victory over Peterborough in midweek.
On Sunday is hoping to get his first taste of the Manchester derby as a player. Back in November the English international was an unused substitute during the Blues' 2-0 triumph over the Reds.
He will be hopeful that his display at London Road on Tuesday is enough to earn him a start. If he is to make it out onto the pitch, Grealish is likely to come up against one of his favourite players of all-time, Ronaldo.
