I’m A Celeb fans are delighted that Matt Hancock won’t face the latest Bushtrucker trial after a gruesome six-day run. The former health secretary has taken on all of the daily challenges to win grub for campmates until now but last night was given a break from the hot seat when it was announced Boy George, Chris Moyles and Babatunde Aleshe are facing the next trial. On Monday night, Hancock faced snakes and critters in an underground pit and took back seven out of a possible 11 stars.

After he completed the task, he told hosts Ant and Dec he thought of his children and his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo, the political aide with whom he had an affair and broke his own social distancing guidelines in doing so, to get through.“It was definitely the calmest I've been in a trial.

I thought of my children, I thought of Gina, I thought of everybody I loved. I just tried to be calm,” he said afterwards.Hancock, 44, was set to become the celeb to take on the most trials in the history of the show following public anger about his coronavirus lockdown scandals. But some viewers were relieved when Boy George, Chris Moyles and Babatúndé were announced to be taking part in Angel of Agony - which will be screened tonight.Following the news, fans flocked to social media to share their relief, with one writing: "Finally not Matt for the trial thank f**k #ImACeleb."While a second commented: "FINALLY hallelujah Matt is NOT doing a trial, who'd have thought!? #imaceleb."One said: "Chris and Boy George finally getting what they deserve!

Hope they get absolutely tortured, not walked to the bridge and no support I.e the Matt Hancock treatment and hope he digs at them like Chris does everytime!" Another said: "And it couldn't be a better three.
