Tina O'Brien made a rare interview appearance amid her dramatic Coronation Street storyline. The actress, who is best known for playing Sarah Barlow - nee Platt - in the ITV soap, appeared on This Morning on Friday to chat to hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.

Right at the start of the interview, Alison said the presenting pair were 'privileged' to have Tina in the studio as she doesn't do 'that many interviews. "You don't normally do daytime and we're the people that you came to," Alison said, clearly delighted with their latest interview signing. Stroking the patch of foundation and other beauty products, Tina, from Rusholme, said: "I'll cherish it forever," as they laughed and Alison added: "That's just for you." Alison and Dermot, 48, then cracked on with their interview quizzing the soap star on her time on the cobbles having joined the soap 16 years ago and facing a whole host of storylines.
