Mekala Osborne had just a 5% chance of surviving life-threatening pneumonia  she contracted in September last year while on holiday in the Far East.The 22-year-old, from Prestonpans near Edinburgh, was so critically ill that her mum Yvonne and stepdad Jimmy were told to “pray she survives.”She returned home on a ventilator last November accompanied on the plane by the medical team who saved her and was transferred to the Royal Infirmary in the capital.And last month Mekala managed to leave hospital for the first time.Now, in an incredible video shared by family friend Davie Martin, the beaming Scot can see be seen pushing her own chair around while it was also revealed she managed to cycle 3km on a machine.Sharing the post on Facebook,.
