FANS of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here have jumped in to defend Owen Warner after noticing a "patronising" comment. Viewers of last night's episode of the ITV competition hit out that Loose Women Charlene White had made a "condescending" passing joke at the Hollyoaks actor as they cooked in camp last night.

Actor Owen, 23, who is best known for playing Romeo Nightingale in Hollyoaks, helped out with the cooking in last night's episode.

He was joined by regular camp chefs Charlene, 42, and MP Matt Hancock as they cooked a piece of boar meat for their co-stars.

The group were seen dishing out instructions to the youngest member of camp, as he got to grips with cooking for the first time. "You're going to want to slice it up, like carpaccio," Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver said, as a baffled Owen replied: "You'll have to speak English to me."
