Holly Willoughby broke an important presenting rule as she returned to present This Morning this week week. The 41 year old re-joined co-host Phillip Schofield on Monday’s episode, and the pair kicked off the week by interviewing Sir Keir Starmer, in what was the Labour Leader’s first in-studio appearance on the show.
During the discussion, Sir Keir spoke about the ongoing parliament “partygate” scandal and addressed the “rank misogyny” thrown at Ashton MP and fellow Labour leader Angela Rayner in a story published over the weekend, before This Morning cut to an advertisement break.
As the daytime programme returned minutes later, Holly was seen missing her cue awkwardly whilst sat at the show’s breakfast table, instead staring at the camera in silence before saying: “And welcome back.” Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter.

"I was actually just watching us on the monitor," the 41-year-old confessed. "Then I was like 'oh my god I'm watching and we're actually on.” “You can't watch the tele if you're on it!” Phillip responded jokingly, as Holly replied: "I know, rule number one of the presenting hand-book, I'm sorry".
