A widow has urged people to get vaccinated after her 54-year-old husband, a devoted animal lover and vegan, died from coronavirus after he refused to have the jab.

Emma Steel has opened up about her heartbreak and what it’s like to lose a loved one to the virus. She had to watch on helplessly as her husband Glynn’s condition deteriorated quickly during two weeks in intensive care after contracting the virus, and now feels “desperate” for others to be protected, BirminghamLive reports.
