She was 65.Her daughter Kelly-Anne was just 17 when her much older boyfriend James Smith drowned her in a bathtub in 1996.Over the three weeks leading up to her murder, he had tortured her and stabbed her in the mouth, face and body while she pleaded in vain for her life.Smith, then 49, was handed a life sentence with a minimum 25 years behind bars.
