Hayden Christensen is sticking up for his Obi-Wan Kenobi co-star. After the release of the new Star Wars show on Disney+, Mose Ingram was the target of racist attacks on social media.
In a new interview, Hayden, 41, talked about the situation, saying that he’s “saddened” by what people are saying about Moses, 28. Click inside to read more… “I think the world of Moses,” Hayden shared with Entertainment Tonight. “She’s not only a lovely person and human being, but an incredibly talented actress.” In the new show, Hayden has reprised his villainous role as Darth Vadar while Moses in playing Reva, who works for him. “The first time I saw the first couple of episodes, I was blown away by her performance and just thought that the subtleties and nuances that she brought to this character were there and really impressive,” Hayden said. “So, I mean, I hope by the end of the series, people are coming around,” he continued. “I think she’s done a great job and I think [Reva] is an important character and people will come to realize that.” Hayden isn’t the only Obi-Wan Kenobi star that is supporting Moses against the racist attacks online. Ewan McGregor also slammed the haters, saying that all the hate towards Moses has “sickened” him.
