‘Halo Infinite’ reportedly suffering development issues due to outsourcing

343 Industries has reportedly suffered development issues causing a recent delay for Halo Infinite due to consistent outsourcing of the project.A report from Thurrott has surfaced which reveals a “significant portion of the game” has supposedly been outsourced to third-party contractors, causing issues before the coronavirus pandemic hit.With the developer working on a new engine, for the Xbox Series X, with a game that is intended to be compatible cross-platform with the Xbox One, this process is often usual.

However, an anonymous source told the publication that “the out-sourcing for Infinite was at a ratio higher than a typical studio undertakes during development which has caused significant headaches for cross-development.
