In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she presented the I'm a Celebrity spin-off series I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.
Hale Sri Lankan restaurant scoops ‘best fine dining’ gong at Asian Restaurant Awards
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA Sri Lankan restaurant in Hale has been named ‘best fine dining restaurant’ at the annual Asian Restaurant Awards. Sigiriya, in Hale Village, scooped the gong at the ceremony at the Hilton in Manchester this week.
The awards show is held by the Asian Catering Federation, which represents 30,000 Asian and Oriental restaurants around the UK.
The restaurant’s owner Don Buddhika said in a post to Instagram: “Thank you so much to the awards. And to each and every one of you that dines with us.
We couldn’t be Sigiriya without you!” The restaurant serves a range of Sri Lankan dishes and curries, as well as street foods and salads.
