Government defends school reopening plan amid claims getting parents back to work has been the 'main driver'

The government has defended its plan to reopen schools in June, saying it is acting on 'medical and scientific advice'. Speaking in the House of Commons this afternoon, Education Secretary Gavin Williamson sought to assure parents over the safety of children returning with phased reopenings next month.
