Gordon Ramsay has defended his decision to take his whole family down to their second home in Cornwall for the duration of lockdown.The 55 year old celebrity chef trekked with his wife Tana, 47, and their children Holly and Jack, 22, Megan, 21, Tilly, 20, and little Oscar, two, down from London to their lavish £4million property on the coast.The family then spent a great proportion of 2020 enjoying family time together and the sea air as the world battled through the coronavirus pandemic.
But Gordon received a huge backlash for the choice, with many claiming the family had "snuck down" to their second home. Speaking to Radio Times, the TV cook reflected: "God knows why we took so much s**t from the Cornish.

Gordon went on to say that the family made sure to travel south west from their London home at an "appropriate time" ahead of the full lockdown and they ended up having an "absolutely amazing" time. "And a time like that - we’ll never get back again," Gordon said, going on to share how much the return to living apart affected him.
