Aaron Chalmers has revealed his newborn son will be "in and out of surgery for 18-24 months" after announcing his arrival earlier this week.

The Geordie Shore star, 35, and his longterm girlfriend Talia Oatway, 30, announced the arrival of their third son on 25 August, who they have named Oakley Bleu Chalmers.

Aaron, who also shares Romeo, two, and one year old Maddox with Talia, then took to his Instagram Stories to give his followers an update on Oakley and revealed that while he was born healthy, there has been a "few issues".The dad-of-three started his message by thanking his fans, saying: "Hi everyone I just thought I'd jump on here quickly to give a quick update, me and Talia are overwhelmed with all the messages of congratulations and stuff, I'll explain in a proper Story in a couple of days." Fetal medicine, also known as perinatology, is described as "a branch of medicine that focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy." He went on to add that he and Talia are currently "letting things soak in" as it has "been a rollercoaster".
