dailyrecord.co.ukSign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.West Lothian’s Fair Trade hero has been hailed by council leader Lawrence Fitzpatrick for his work.Councillor Fitzpatrick won the cross-party agreement to his motion before the full council congratulating Livingston man Andy Mount.Andy has retired from his role after 20 years.In his motion Councillor Fitzpatrick praised Andy’s work.He said: “Council notes with appreciation the retiral of Andy Mount from the Fair Trade group.“His service to the Livingston community and the wider country on the Fair Trade Initiative has been outstanding."Andy has helped promote Fair Trade goods in West Lothian schools, shops and supermarkets and attended national.
