in Salford will be reviewed following the tragic death of schoolboy Adam Kay. The bridges – including one at Clifton Country Park – will be risk-assessed to see what safety measures can be put in place, Cllr Derek Antrobus confirmed.The aim is to prevent another tragedy following the death of 14-year-old Adam Kay.Adam was out playing with his friends in Clifton Country Park on June 2 when he got into difficulty in the water.He jumped off a rock ledge and into the water and disappeared from sight after struggling to stay afloat.A massive search operation was launched but tragically his body was found a short time later.There have since been calls to improve safety measure at the park to avoid another death.Cllr Antrobus said four bridges.
