Jimmy Fallon
James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, actor, television host, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and before that Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue opportunities in stand-up comedy. He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005).

James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Viewers of the 2022 Emmys were not happy with Jimmy Kimmel after he stole the limelight from actress Quinta Brunson as she accepted her accolade.

The 54-year-old chat show host pretended to pass out onstage as Quinta, writer and star of hit comedy show Abbott Elementary, gave her acceptance speech for Best Writing for a Comedy Series.This was the actress’ first ever Emmy win and so it was a big moment for her – that annoyed fans pointed out was upstaged by Jimmy, who remained ‘passed out’ on the floor beside her the whole speech.

Being a good sport, Quinta told the audience: “Thirteenth time in a row that he’s lost and he just got into the skinny margaritas back there.” She then attempted to push Jimmy out of the way, saying “Jimmy, wake up, I won”, but the US host only gave a thumbs-up and continued to lie down.

When Quinta was done with her acceptance speech, actor Will Arnett, who had joined Jimmy onstage to host the award, then finally dragged the presenter offstage as Quinta graciously thanked the chat show host at the end.
