You'd think the joke would have ended after Arnett called Brunson's name and she took the stage to accept her award. But Kimmel decided to drag it out for the yuks and remained lying at Brunson's feet throughout her entire speech—because what Black woman's big moment is not improved by a white man diverting attention onto himself?Twitter was less than impressed by Kimmel's decision to detract from Brunson's moment, to say the least.
