Emmerdale fans will be treated to six special lockdown episodes as filming resumes with strict safety and social distancing guidelines now in place at the Leeds studios.

Newlyweds Sam and Lydia Dingle are getting their own standalone episode on Monday 8 June. Fans were delighted when Sam and Lydia finally managed to tie the knot after a dramatic and disastrous wedding ceremony back in April.

Emmerdale actor James Hooton has revealed that the couple’s honeymoon period will be ending sooner than expected. FYI, spoilers ahead.

In a special episode dedicated to their storyline, viewers will be able to catch up with Sam and Lydia who are quarantining alone.
