Elgin City have asked all their players and staff to take massive 67 per cent cuts in a bid to save the club.The Scottish League Two promotion pushers were in a decent financial position going into the COVID-19 shutdown but unless their employees agree to take the massive drops then they could struggle to get to the end of the season.PFA (Scotland) are in talks with the Moray club, who like most sides have been hit hard by the coronavirus shutdown, to see if an agreement can be reached.Elgin City chairman Graham Tatters said: “Believe you me this 67 per cent cut has not been put in place lightly!“It is on-going.“The full wages will be paid today and then we hope to find a way forward after that.“There are a lot of negotiations to be done.“T
