East Ayrshire school pupils and teachers are to be tested for coronavirus upon their return to the classroom.The measures have been put in place as the education chiefs try to limit the spread of COVID-19.First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced earlier this month that if prevalence of the deadly bug continues to decrease then early years pupils and senior students due to sit exams could return along with nurseries from February 22.One secondary school, Loudoun Academy, has organised for senior pupils to collect a batch of testing kits this Friday with students able to pick up the items from Galston Primary, Hurlford Primary, Darvel Primary, Newmilns Primary and Fenwick Primary at specific times.Pupils collecting tests have to maintain 2m.
