The new fuel - preferred by many newer motors - is a greener blend that the standard E5 version that we are used to. It contains a higher percentage of renewable fuel - bioethanol - meaning that it is better for the environment due to the lower levels of carbon emissions Despite it being greener than existing petrol, it's not working for every road user with a number of people reporting issues.
