Dyson Invents Portable Ventilator Amid Crisis

Dyson, known for its’ vacuums, has redirected and is now making portable ventilators to help combat the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

According to People, inventor James Dyson took just 10 days to invent the new product, which will aid medical professionals in the worldwide ventilator shortage.

The device is called CoVent and can be “manufactured quickly, efficiently and at volume,” a release states. “A ventilator supports a patient who is no longer able to maintain their own airways, but sadly there is currently a significant shortage, both in the U.K.
