Driver dies after horror crash between three lorries on M6

The motorway was closed in both directions by police after the collision, between Junction 19 and Junction 20, near Lymm, just after 1pm on Thursday (8 July).

Travel monitors said one of the lorries involved had overturned. The northbound side of the motorway reopened at about 3.30pm on Thursday, but the southbound side remained closed until Friday morning.
