Dr. Dre has prescribed the perfect soundtrack for fans celebrating marijuana holiday 4/20 by finally allowing his rap classic The Chronic to be streamed on all music platforms.
The hip-hop icon’s debut album will go fully digital on April 20, 2020, thanks to officials at entertainment firm eOne – 28 years after its original release.
Prior to that date, the influential Death Row Records project had only been made available to Apple Music subscribers after a deal was struck in 2015, although his other solo albums, 2001 and Compton, had been uploaded to other services like Spotify and Tidal.
