15-25.A festival rep said she was unsure whether the film’s director Pete Docter, who is also chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios, will be able to make the trek to Rome.It is also unclear what Disney’s release plans are for “Soul” for which the studio has set a Nov.
20 U.S. release date, though Variety has reported it is instead exploring various other options, including moving it straight to Disney Plus.
