Diplo Denied Entry Into Cannes Party He Was Supposed to DJ

Diplo had a hard time getting into one of the parties at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

On Monday (May 30), the 43-year-old DJ posted a video that showed him getting denied entry into a party he was supposed to perform at. Click inside to read more… “I was booked to DJ a yacht party in Cannes but security wouldn’t let me in,” he wrote in the video. “The yacht was empty so I was about to take the L and go get food…” In the clip, a woman can been seen trying to help Diplo get into the party, despite resistance from the security guard. “Luckily the owner was walking by and let me in,” the Major Lazer musician added.

He joked in the caption, “Next time I’m adding myself to guest list.” Diplo was in Cannes to support Baz Luhrmann‘s new biopic, Elvis, which features his music on the soundtrack.
