Christmas day is fast approaching, and with that there are many things to look forward to such as spending time with family, possibly celebrating in church, opening presents and watching all the Christmas movies – exclusively Netflix originals if you're anything like me.

While we all have our own unique traditions, we probably all have a similar stance when it comes to the food.The stance is that it's great and there's never enough.

On the big day itself the average UK adult consumes 5,373 calories of festive goodness. Firm favourites include chocolate for breakfast, cheese boards, Bailey's, plenty of beige buffets that Gillian McKeith would have a field day over and of course Christmas dinner itself.
