Loose Women star Denise Welch's stalker has been sentenced to jail after starting a fire on the TV panellist's driveway.Toraq Wyngard, 64, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court today, Thursday 7 April, and received seven years and seven months behind bars.The blaze that Wyngard started in 2020 at Denise's home caused over £4,000 worth of damage.
Back in September 2021, Wyngard pleaded guilty to stalking, causing serious alarm or distress, between September 18 2020 and February 11 2021.
He also admitted charges of possession of a knife, criminal damage, and arson In the wake of his actions, Denise, 63, said she's "permanently scarred". “It has changed my life.
I have a wonderful life and this man has permanently scarred it," she said, as per the Evening Standard.The court was informed that Wynard set fire to a skip outside Denise's home at 11pm on September 19 2020.
