Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969), also known by her nickname J.Lo, is an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film. She went on to star in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998), later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in Hollywood.

Debenhams preparing to close UK stores putting 12,000 jobs at risk after rescue talks collapsed

manchestereveningnews.co.ukDebenhams has confirmed plans to start winding down its operations after rescue talks with JD Sports collapsed.The 242-year-old department store chain said its administrators have "regretfully" decided to start its liquidation process, while continuing to seek offers.Debenhams said it will continue to trade through its 124 UK stores and online to clear its current and contracted stocks.But the company warned they would be forced to close if a buyer is not found."On conclusion of this process, if no alternative offers have been received, the UK operations will close," Debenhams said in statement.Around 12,000 jobs are thought to be at risk.
