D'Angelo may be on track to release his first new song in years: a nine-minute collaboration with JAY-Z recorded for the soundtrack to the Netflix film The Book of Clarence.

The film's director Jeymes Samuel spilled the beans at an event on Saturday hosted by Elliot Wilson, as Stereogum points out. “It’s so deep," Samuel says of the song, "D’Angelo, Jay-Z.

Like, nine minutes, 33 seconds of absolute soulful biblical bliss.” If the song doesn't exist, that's an awfully specific timestamp!
