dailyrecord.co.ukCumbernauld United chairman George Fraser reckons the West Region Championship win for co-champions Blantyre Victoria and Darvel is "irrelevant".
The Scottish Junior FA last night announced that the Vics and the Ayrshire league leaders would both be awarded the title as both sides had picked up 84 per cent of points before the league was called off.
However, the Guy's Meadow club were six points behind Darvel in second and a point ahead of the Vics having played more games.Fraser said his side "have no complaints on the decision" and it didn't matter with all clubs moving to the new tier six West of Scotland League next term.
