The Championship co-champions were set to be denied promotion after the SFA axed the original conference plan and a 17-team top flight was put on the table by WOSL chiefs.
However, a second plan was put through meaning the Vics move into a 20-team division just below the Lowland League and the SPFL.The switch will see Castle Park host senior football for the first time when the Scottish football shutdown is lifted.
