Dembele currently finds himself the subject of a contract stand-off with the Spanish giants and they want to offload him before the transfer window closes on Monday evening.
The Frenchman, who joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer of 2017 for more than £120million, is out-of-contract at the Camp Nou this summer and they want to sell him before this month's window slams shut, despite Dembele's hopes of signing a new deal at the club.
Taking his current situation into account, Dembele, unsurprisingly, as has been the trend in recent years, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, despite United not registering any interest in landing the winger this month.
