Coronavirus UK cases rise by 3,330 in 24 hours with five deaths reported

coronavirus cases is continuing to rise in the UK with a further 3,330 people testing positive in 24 hours, as of 9am today. (Sunday)The government's coronavirus dashboard said 368,504 cases have now been confirmed.It also said a further five people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Sunday.

This brings the UK total to 41,628.There are now 884 patients in hospital with coronavirus and 79 are on ventilators in the UK.

The latest figures (last updated on September 2) show there had been an increase of 141 hospital admissions.Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies show there have now been 57,400 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.Earlier, NHS England.
