Coronavirus case forces Lanarkshire school to close its doors after person tests positive

A Lanarkshire school will be closed tomorrow after a confirmed case of coronavirus . Lanark Grammar School, in Lanark, will be shut on Friday, March 13 as a precautionary measure following the emergence of a positive test.

The individual is self-isolating at home and is giving no cause for concern.The school is currently working closely with NHS Lanarkshire’s public health team who are in the process of contacting staff and parents to inform them of the decision.The school is due to reopen on Monday, March 16.
