COP26 protesters cause havoc by interrupting event being held by oil giant

Around a dozen protesters have interrupted a COP26 side event being held by an Italian oil giant. The groups Glasgow Calls Out Polluters and Fridays For Future Italia disrupted the event which was hosted by Eni.

During the protest one member of the group read out a statement from a climate justice group in Mozambique called, JA! Justiça Ambiental Moçambique.

The group has hit out at Eni for "creating a war zone" in the African country due to some of its activities. One member tweeted: "No more lies!
