Swish holiday chalet plans for popular wedding venue scrapped after 'dangerous' warning from environmental group

Plans to build swish holiday chalets at one of Ayrshire's most popular wedding venues have been scrapped.The axe fell on Lochside House Hotel plans shortly after Scotland's leading environmental agency warned that one of the holiday homes WILL flood.SEPA said the situation was "very dangerous" and also claimed the guests who occupy the property will be put "at risk".Owned by the RAD Group, Lochside had hoped to add to their "luxury" offering in New Cumnock with eight swanky chalets.The new properties would be situated to the east of the main venue sandwiched between a railway track and the Loch o' th' Lowes.However, the watchdog did provide the venue with details on how they could overcome previous objections to the blueprints.But the plans
