Clyde explain SPFL Rangers resolution abstain call amid 'structural and cultural failure'

Clyde say they do not reject "the intent of scrutiny and accountability behind the resolution" after abstaining from the crunch SPFL independent inquiry vote yesterday.

Last week a 200-page dossier of evidence was put forward by Rangers to clubs as they called for an independent investigation.On Tuesday clubs voted on the proposals at an emergency general meeting leading to defeat.A total of 13 clubs voted in favour, with a margin of 75 per cent needed in each division to pass the resolution.In Leagues One and Two where 15 clubs would have been required to vote in favour to see it pass.

A total of eight clubs supported the resolution, with 10 opposing it and two clubs, including The Bully Wee, abstaining. The Broadwood Stadium board said
