Chris de Burgh has been unsuccessful in selling his Wicklow mansion after putting it on the market in June 2019. And two years later later the Georgian mansion is still up for sale for its original price of €12.5 million.
And while we won’t be forking over the whooping amount for the 11-hectare (27-acre) Bushey Park estate, we can take a look inside the home.
Chris de Burgh bought the estate in 1996 and spent the next seven years refurbishing it. The family added an extra 140sqm to their mansion with their renovation and upgraded it to include state-of-the-art heating and insulation.
According to Bloomberg, improvements made by the family include a panic room with two-inch-thick steel doors and an indoor pool.
