Celtic and Rangers Colts Lowland plan slammed by feeder leagues in furious statement

Celtic and Rangers and Colt teams into the Lowland League have been blasted by furious feeder leagues to the fifth tier ahead of further talks on the proposals today.

Clubs in the West of Scotland, East of Scotland and South of Scotland - who all play in the tier below the Lowland - released a joint statement last night saying they were dismayed by the plans to allow Old Firm 'B' teams into the setup for one year from next season.The triumvirate see it as a slap in the face to the ambitious clubs in tier six who want to work their way up the football pyramid, but are set to see the Colt teams skip the queue into tier five.
