James Tavernier has been named PFA Scotland's Player of the Year for 2020-21. The Ibrox right-back has enjoyed his finest season at the Light Blues since arriving in 2015, amassing an incredible 19 goals and 12 assists in all competitions.

His victory denies Allan McGregor and Steven Davis an awards season double, with the keeper and midfielder winning the SPFL and Scottish Football Writers' Player of the Year prizes respectively earlier this month.

And it comes just 24 hours after Tavernier hoisted the Scottish Premiership trophy following a 4-0 win over Aberdeen on the final day, which secured Rangers' status as league invincibles as they romped unbeaten to a 25-point margin of victory.
