Mystery still surrounds the cause of the explosion of a family home in Ayr which left four people seriously injured – including two children.Engineers from gas company SGN are continuing a major investigation along with the emergency services at the blast site in Gorse Park, Kincaidston.A temporary 'above-ground' gas line has been installed by workers to power homes in the area.Engineers are expected to remain in Kincaidston for the rest of the week and possibly into the weekend.The temporary pipeline was switched on yesterday afternoon and was put in place to remove the existing gas main and allow the demolition of four houses most affected by the blast.SGN say they are still working to establish the cause of the explosion which remains
